My Interview Project

In this Project, I listened to an interview with Anne Hathaway.click here to listen the whole interview.

The interviewer is John Wilson. Anne Hathaway is an American Oscar-nominated actress and she played lots of films. One of them is “Love and Other Drugs” which is the main topic of the interview. Initially John Wilson introduces the film briefly by saying “Jamie (Jake Gyllenheal) sells Viagra and Maggie (Anne Hathaway) suffers from Parkinson’s disease. They have physical relationship and then it turns into love”.   

 Then conversation starts with first question. Wilson asks her to mention about on screen relationship with Maggie and Jamie. She explains it by saying “people meet each other and hate each other but Jamie and Maggie don’t care of it. They are more interested in physical relationship”. Then she comments on 26 years old Maggie who has Parkinson’s disease by saying “Maggie has got no money, no savings, no insurance. She is young and sick and has got a particular situation”. Then Wilson asks her how she prepared to her role. She says that she talked a lot of women with Parkinson’s disease and neurologists and read books about disease.

 She continues with her role choice. She wants to go with best works and best directors. Another question is about crying, Wilson finds her crying so real. As a answer she says this is what her face does while crying and she finds the other actresses lucky because their faces don’t puff up while they are crying. At the end of the conversation Wilson says her new film’s opening day.

 If I were in Wilson’s shoes, I would like to add a question “ Do you have any rule? For example : I never make........ in a film.

                     2. I read the concepts and the elements of fable and  moral.

                     3. I filled up the chart for my fable.

                     4. Then I wrote my own fable.

                     Problem: sharing out a prey

                     Resolution: the fox accepts the lion's dominance
